Try using a kitchen spray that contains bleach, should scrub off ok

I have previously soaked kitchen towel in sterilising solution and laid it over the mould. It works quite well.

Sounds like your washing machine needs a deep clean. try this washing machine cleaner

I also have this problem so would be interested in any tips.

My washing machine engineer also said I was probably using too much detergent.

I had this, Scrubbed with eco bleach granules, left for a bit and rinsed off. I then sprayed lots of white vinegar on, tipped a load od vinegar on the drum and did a hot wash

FurbysMakeSexNoises · 04/10/2016 17:55

Did that work?

Wipe with bleach then run a hot washing with a squirt of bleach inside the drum (nothing else inside). After this wash run another one with just towels or clothes or something to make sure bleach completely rinsed out then back to normal with a shiny clean machine!
