Washing Machine has died - WWYD

13 yo Bosch. Looks like it's stopped spinning. I don't have a prob with buying a new one. Money is a bit tight (I'm SP) but obviously I need a WM however;

I am just putting my flat on the market and agents expect it to sell quickly.

We will be moving to a new area and I plan on renting for a while to get to know the place, before buying.

Don't rental properties usually come with a WM? Also many houses have inbuilt WM these days. So I'd rather wait if possible.

I work FT so using a laundry mat for 3-4 months will be a massive PITA. As would storing a new machine I wouldn't be using.

I'm guessing it's probably not worth fixing a machine this old?

So WWYD?

Hi,

You can pick up really cheap washing machines from here Check it out it might be worth getting one on the cheap and then just leaving it behind after.

looking on ebay for a cheap one local to me - seems lots of people are selling due to kitchen refurbishment.
I have someone who can pick up and deliver for me locally :)

Did you try cleaning out the lint filter in the old machine. My old washer used to stop spinning if the filter was blocked.

Cherry no I didn't do that - I will try it tonight thank you.

I'm still looking at replacement WM's but have had a busy few days so nothing ordered yet.
