By mistake i managed to leave some fish in our fridge for way too long and it ended up smelling the whole fridge out. I threw the fish away and gave the fridge a good clean but there is still a horrid odour that you can smell everytime you open the fridge. how to get rid of spoiled food smell in refrigerator?

Thanks

Little bowl of bicarbonate of soda but I'm guessing a big clean is probably necessary too.

Ground coffee in a bowl

I second bicarbonate

you can sponge down the inside with neat WUL or a strong solution of bicarb. Don't wipe it off, leave it to dry on, and leave it open to air. You can clean it off next time you clean the fridge.

I would avoid lemon-scented or similar as I find the smell too strong and clingy.

Try these fridge deordourizers just stick one in your fridge and leave it for a couple of hours

Just open a tub of bicarb of soda and leave it in your fridge to absorb odours.

Yep bi carb as it absorbs smells.

Either bicarb or coffee. Both work.

I clean the fridge with a mixture of lemon juice and water, wait to dry - and the smell is gone.
