Last pic is of a very messy, rammed (open door) closet. The whole lot is an April Fool- see the comments that are below the photos.

Monica Cupboard! I knew it!

toldmywrath · 02/04/2016 11:29

I think it looks like a very sad & lonely place to live by the way, apart from the kitten.

goldenlilliesdaffodillies · 02/04/2016 11:29

She clearly doesn't have children or pets!

Spandexpants007 · 02/04/2016 11:31

I thought she had a baby?

UnGoogleable · 02/04/2016 11:36

I think most of you are spectacularly missing the joke....

TitsCrossed · 02/04/2016 11:37

It's an April Fool article, ALL the pics are stock photos, it's not real!

JaneJeffer · 02/04/2016 12:09

I bet her apartment does look like that though.

NewYearSameMe · 02/04/2016 12:19

Oh, that makes sense that it's an April Fool's day thing. Grin I was looking through the photos and wondering how she managed to have a clearly 19th century European apartment in Tokyo. I mean you could duplicate European furniture and decoration, but that apartment has high ceilings and old-fashioned windows and doors.

StiickEmUp · 02/04/2016 12:30

My dream house except I like grey and black not white.
Totally what I will aim for in my next house.

SavoyCabbage · 02/04/2016 12:40

I know a declutterer. She works three days and spends a whole day of her days off decluttering, even though she's hardly got anything in the first place!

Grin That's great!
Melfish · 02/04/2016 15:06

It looks quite European with the cornicing ( not sure what you call the patterns on the ceiling) and fireplace. And there was one shot of what looked like an English suburban back garden through the french doors.

lcoc2015 · 02/04/2016 15:15

Looks and reads like an april fool to me

ICJump · 03/04/2016 09:07

I was thinking it looks like an ad which it would if it's stock photos :)

Cressandra · 03/04/2016 11:49

C'mon people. Makes tea for the cat. Writes long and heartfelt thank you notes to her clothes.

(Though embarrassingly, to my eyes that last cupboard doesn't look all that bad.)

IAmAPaleontologist · 03/04/2016 12:13

Love it! Took embarrassingly long to realise it was a spoof. Love th 90% of the book collection Grin

My house has lots of air too. And crap. Lots of crap.

Love that it's an April fools.
I agree that she's totally bonkers.
I have read the book though and I have taken some aspects from it. You wouldn't think it if you ever visited my house. It permanently looks like we've either been burgled or I've had a great party!

howtorebuild · 03/04/2016 12:39

Good April fools.

exexpat · 03/04/2016 12:46

There is no way that is a Tokyo apartment (windows/doors/mouldings/fireplace etc all way too European). If it's an April fool, they could at least have tried a bit harder to make it look realistic...
