Gorenje Fridge Freezers or do I need to bite the bullet and have Smeg.

I am moving to a new house and currently have integrated fridge and freezer, but new house I need to purchase a free standing.
I would really like a red/burgundy fridge freezer, but the price of Smeg is more than I am prepared to spend. I have come across Gorenje, but the reviews I am finding on line are really mixed. But then an industry website states that they make a lot of Smeg and Bosch appliances.
Does anyone have any real life experience?
I am not looking at the retro style the more standard style of fridge freezer is what I am thinking of.
When I looked at a Smeg in store I was really disappointed and felt the door was plasticy.

I have a Smeg - love it, it's fab & gets so many compliments. Seems very solidly built.

I had never used gorenje before when I ordered a fridge freezer. It has lasted 10 months and I believe I need a new compressor !!!!!!! After sales appalling. The electrics I need are on back order they can't tell me when they are going to be in stock. If this is a taste of things to come think I'll tip it now
