hi all and happy new year - i have just stared "flying" if this is the correct term ... anyway hope you don't mind if i join you all. My sink is shiny and my laundry is done!

Hi satinshoes - from what I picked up before you have an oh-so-lovely baby, am in shock that you are here flying, has taken me four years of using the excuse of having just had a baby to not do anything. I hope everything is well with you and your little one.

Okay - me today:

-mission of entry hall (yikes) DONE
-tidy round and redistribute christmas stuff (must get back to normal as dd starting school on thurs) DONE (kind of!)
-WM DONE
-DW DONE
-swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom DONE KITCHEN
-children's rooms if I really get going! NO! all stuff from hall and house dumped in there, plan to do tomorrow!!!!

Might do a bit more after a coffee.

nope- im stuffing my face with tuna and pasta.... im starving

OMG!

DP told me this morning: "let's sort out our bedroom". so we've gone through all the clutter. there are several piles of stuff. washing, charity, skip and a small one that's to keep. he promised to deal with the skip and charity one tomorrow. i will do tha washing too. it's so lovely and clean he was even on about buying a nice bedspread and lampshades!

After DH went to the footie and DS to MIL I

did another load of washing and put it out
did my physio exercises
Put a pork joint to roast and prepped veg.

Going to keep this up as my resolutions, not broken one yet which is a miricale!

DH home...bit miffed I was roasting the joint. DS back and I'm not doing anything else today.

Hiya Firstly "HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL"
I tried to post last night but I could not get the pages to load.

I have had a very long day today! Been up since 5:13am DS1 would not go back to sleep or be quiet. He did not go to bed last night until 9pm. I was hopping he would stay asleep this morning. I could not put the TV on as Sky was not working and I don't have anything else. Not normal TV aeriel here. I later found out that something had hit the Sky dish off line. I spent ages trying to get it to work, with help from next door we got it working after lunch.

Then I took all the outside decs down while it was not raining and windy. Outside look yuk tonight now

Then I hoovered the whole house. We still seem to have glittering carpets though. It just seems its been glued to the carpets

DS1 is now in bed, hes been moody all day! Even when I got the TV working he was moody about that. Yet he lives for the TV.

Last day of their holidays tomorrow so I will be sorting out their school bits. Its seems ages since they broke up for their hols but going back very quick after Xmas. I`m sure other years its been the 6th or the 7th before DS1 went go back to school after Xmas.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! Just back from our mamoth journey to parents in northeast, to scotland, then back to northeast, then back home today. So tired I've lots of washing ect to do. Feel like I've been away for weeks. Will catch up with you all tomorrow.
