How often do you wash your duvet or buy a new one?

Just noticed my duvet is quite disgusting from sweat stains and I should wash it. I am pretty sure we haven't washed it in the 2/3 years we have had it as I have never thought to

Wash Once a year. More if it gets visibly soiled. It's a 4.5 tog and 9.5 which button together for middle of winter, so I wash when I'm only using one layer so not left without a duvet. The thinner one fits in my washer and my drier at home. The thick one has to go to the laundrette.

We do ours at the laundrette twice a year. Make sure you use powder or tablets to wash it with as this will get rid of any dust mites living in it
