hi guys,

I'm fine. another nice quite day. DH stayed at home but worked while i had DD this morning and while she slept this afternoon. Then he took her out while I got a nap

I'm feeling much more human. Think I'm coming out the other side from this cold. Trouble is DH has got it now after all the stress of looking after me and DD, and de-flea-ing the house.

On a +ve note had a friend offer to make me lots of frozen meals and cakes for when the baby comes which I thought was lovely.

Hope youre all ok. looks like you've all been busy!

Hello, just stopping by while I run myself a bath.

ruby hope the spelling test goes OK, i used to dread them as a child.

HN I'm sorry your lo's have been unwell- did you make it to 6.30 and have some custard?

luda I can't believe how busy you've been wish I'd made better progress!

I never did mop the floors but I did do the ironing (and put clothes away), and I did give the bathroom and downstairs cloakroom really good cleans. Didn't make it into the utility room but maybe tomorrow...

EHM I haven't been out yet looking for a present- the weather has been so horrid here all day and dd came out of school so run down that I couldn't face a journey to the shops. Another maybe for tomorrow.

The carol concert this eve was fun but ds was very noisy and I ended up feeling annoyed- all other lo's were able to sit nicely, why can't mine?? Another guilt trip for me- bad mother can't even get child to sit quietly for 30min service- have bath running and a cheap magazine to read to help me snap out of it...

and satinshoes hope all OK with you too x x

I must be getting telepathic... I have not even had a look at the website for days and I did the mission this morning

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 07/12/2006 20:47

Hi again.

People have been busy today. Well done all I have not done my xmas cards yet, They are on my to do list. I have got 60 cards for DSS to have for there friends at school. I have a list on names for DS2 but need a list for DS1. He would give a card to every kid in the school if he could. I was plaining on do thiers at the weekend. DS2 has got 12 already. 3 from girls who have put "lots of love/Love from" DS1 is not happy that DS2 has 12 already. "its not fair" is what he keeps saying.

satinshoes gald you are feeling better now. Your poor DH. Give him a hugs from us.

shouldbe Yes they had their custard. They had a small cake with it too.

No tortoise yet today, hope she is ok and has not got the sickness bug. She was asking after me yesterday and now I am today.Has she gone into hibernation. lol.

satinshoes · 07/12/2006 20:51

I think they are on the mend now satinshoes. They both want to go to school tomorrow. Just hope that DD will be ok. She does not like being sick one bit. She was a very sickly baby.

I have just done my kitchen/back hall way and bathroom floors. Least they will say clean for at least 12 hrs cleaning them this time of night.
I am not going to get much done tomorrow as SS and my solicitor are here at 11am and then lunch then out to get a few bits thats needed for the weekend and then DSS from school. The day will be gone then.

I think I heard right, but the hamper people that went bust "farepak" are now going to send out 19,000 boxes of hamper bits to there customers. So that is good news for the customers

I'm glad you've had a nice quiet day satin. You do need rest, as I keep saying! When I was heavily pregnant, I'd wake up and think "What's the date today? The 4th. No, not today. What's the day? Wednesday. No, Wednesday isn't the day I imagine it'll be." How abnormal is that? In the end, ds came a day before I wanted him to and on a Saturday which pleased me, and dd came on the same date, different month and on a Monday which pleased me, too! Crackers or what?

shouldbe You've done well today. Good on you!

HN It's good that the children were well enough to eat. Are they drinking enough to re-hydrate themselves too? My niece and my dsis have both ended up on a drip due to dehydration. Now I mention it, I have, too, last year.

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 07/12/2006 21:50

Yes they have been drinking today. Water this morning which did not please DS1 as he wanted milk. I did not want to feed the bug with milk and then DSS would puck again. They had weak orange this afternoon and then their milk tonight before bed. So they should be alright now. Fingers crossed! It seems like its a 24 hr bug. I phoned the school this morning to say that they would not be in today and they said that there were 6 off in DS2 class and 8 off in DS1 class for sure with sickness. Thats from mums that phoned in to say their littuns wont be in school. HNtree just phoned and she said that a lot of people around her have got bad earaches and colds.

Hope it all goes soon, least its now and not over Xmas!

I`m off to bed now. I going to try and catch up on lost sleep from lastnight.

See you all at somepoint tomorrow.

tortoise If you come in after I have gone, then I hope you are ok and you have not got this sickness bug that your DSs had, or anything else is wrong.

NN all xxxxxxxx

Hi, I thought I would pop back and let you all know I am still on this planet but due to a new job 5 mornings a week my flying has slipped.

But......

This week I have cleared out and reorgainised
all my kitchen cupboards ready to fit in all the christmas stuff.

Cleared the landing, now this is a major acheivment. LOads of stuff into the loft and charity and work cupboard cleared out to get work stuff from downstairs out the road.

Got the kids to clear out some books and DS has decided to ditch some toys, he got really excited when I told him similar Thunderbird stuf has gone for over £50.

My other tactic was to choose some things to go in the loft for a while. Hopefully they will forget about them and I will get rid of them, but if they want them back they can still get them.

IvortheEngine · 07/12/2006 22:59

I hope you have a good nights sleep HN.

You have been busy Skribble.

Nos da pawb. Good night all.

IvortheEngine · 08/12/2006 09:09

I'm looking for somewhere to list my achievements of the day so far, but don't want to start the new thread as I'm not sure what to do to get the right link! See you all later as I'm out for much of today.

IvortheEngine · 08/12/2006 09:20

Right, I've got to dash off now. First, though, I've been recommending other posters to join our daily FLYing threads. I wonder if they will? A virtual large choccie bar to the clever person who starts the Friday thread!
