wash wee out of a sprung matress

Well we had a major accident last night, so how do i clean my sprung mattress with a wool topper?

I'm afraid that I don't think you can - not effectively and through and through. I'd be delighted to hear suggestions from other posters though.

You can't wash it out but we used a cat odour remover from the pet shop on ours as it contains an enzyme that breaks down the bacteria that cause the smell. Nothing else worked at all.

oh yes, as hopefully it got "stuck" in the topper, thank you.
