How do you get a musty smell out of a fabric?

Had to wash the sofa cushion covers due to a spillage. The stain came out but the problem is that they dried so slowly (because I washed them on the delicates setting without a spin, and the weather was so damp while they were drying) that they have dried with a musty smell.

Washed them again to get rid of the smell, and dried them more quickly this time (put on the spin for short time and dried them outside as it's not raining today) but the smell is still there. Arghh.

Any tips anyone??

Try sprinkling with bicarb and leaving as long as poss before vacuuming off. If that doesn't work, I recommend Simple Solution pet stain and odour remover - I know that's not the problem, but it is brilliant at removing smells.
