If you have a huge DVD/CD collection filed in wallets rather than boxes, how do you organise them?!

We are DVD addicts. We have a frankly ridiculous amount and it grows ever bigger - a huge range from retro cartoons to horror movies etc... We've been keeping them in those Caselogic books but they get in such a muddle.

Problem is we still add to it all the time so series like Big Bang Theory will need to have room for further series, but then there are series like Friends or Survivors which will never be extended...

So how do you arrange yours to allow for further additions? By genre? Alphabetically? By company (eg Disney)? By who owns it? (DCs, me or DH)

Apologies for REALLY boring thread but if you could tell me how you do yours it might inspire me. I am also considering making a database of them with the DCs (and the help of my dad) as a little homeschool project Blush

We only buy Istore films now so they're stored in the cloud on our iPads however, after our case logic books (4/5) were full, we bought a big silver dad box with a hanging case system....see pics. That would last you a while.

Got mine in boxes organised by rating - so that I can get the 'right' box down for the right age group.

I've got a wallet that allows you to move the pages around so it's easy to extend series if necessary.

But tbh I'm thinking of getting rid as so many of them are now available on Netflix/nowTV in the very unlikely event we'll want to watch them again.
