Im back now and making myself eat some toast.I need some energy!
Don't think i will do much in the next 2 and half hours.

redheadmum · 27/11/2006 15:57

so am I just me ant to do the baby steps and then go onto the routines etc? bit confused here

anyway if n othing else it's motivated me to have a look at the clutter and start tackling it. I put all the extra toys in rubbish bags and put them in the cellar. I know this is a bit of a cop out.....but dH was horrified when I said I was going to really pare down the toys. Thing is they have so many I think it's too much and they end up not really playing with any. The rubbish bag thing is an experiment to see if they actually miss any of them (this I doubt). Am dreading Christmas with the yet more toys to come - seems obscene to me.

just gonna do a hoover in the now de-cluttered lounge!

Fallen flyer poping in with an admission just don't tell soapy. Flame I did it but I probably wasn't the only one.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 27/11/2006 16:57

Ive put some lights outside now.
Just the outdoor fibre optic tree to go!
DD's will be back in a minute and they will be very excited to see the lights.

Hi all. FLYing is going well today. Not here in HN house. I have not done much at all. I just did/don't have any go in me. It took me ages to walk to get DSs from school, good job we left earlier then we normally do.

Tort... Sorry you are still not feeling to good. All I have had t eat today in 2 pieces of toast at 5pm. Even my coffee is tasting like shite today

Good to read you got some more lights up today. I bet your DDs were very happy to see them. It must have been dark by the time they got back.

I am not stopping online tonight as I don't have a lot of electric left. £2:34 at 6pm I have used over £2:50 since last night. I have not had the lights on at all tonight apart for the tree 1s. I really hope the new key comes tomorrow.
Barbara(next door) asked why we did not have the lights on last night, I said that I did not have a lot credit on electric meter, with that she said she heard her phone. Then came back out with £10 to put on the meter. I said that I had the money, it was the key that I needed, and told her what happened. I said we did not need the £10 but she said to keep it for when I get the key. She said she missed not having the lights working last night and would also miss them to night too.

I had problems getting DS1 ready for school this morning, he did go in the end. I seen his teacher when I got them and she said he has been quiet all day. I told her about the weekend and she said she would keep an eye on him.

Anyway I better go to save some electric. I just could not keep away for 1 day
Its going to be hard to turn the computer off now.

I hope to see you all tomorrow, fingers crossed with the electric key.

NN all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 27/11/2006 20:08

HN my electric is lower than that.Comp won't use much. But a least i can put some money on tomorrow. I hope your key comes tomorrow.
Outside light were only on long enough for DD's to see them then off to save elec.

dreamteamgirl · 27/11/2006 21:58

Easy-peesy FLYing today

Kitchen is spotless, porch got done week before last when I got my zones mixed up, plus polished front door

Dont hve much hotspot wise in the lounge, so cleared what I had and then did 10 mins in the toybox, have 4 bags cleared, 1 for bin, 1 for charity shop, 1 for 1 year old neighbour and 1 for 1 week old bosses DS. YAY, I feel so on top of everything.

Might do the windows in bit...

redheadmum Sorry, I have only skim read the thread so apologies if someone has already replied. I've only been on the FLYlady site a couple of times due to ineptitude (sp?) as much as anything, oh and a stubborn streak! So if the day's task (I haven't learnt the lingo yet) says to sort out your jewellry box but I want to do my tea and coffee cupboard then I do as I want. My take on it is that as long as you are doing something to help yourself i.e. getting somewhere in your house, then that's fine. What you do isn't that important. I desperately, for example, need to find that life assurance cover so that I can check it and return it. That's my big thing atm. Off to try to find it.

P.S. All No "worm" attempt problems on this thread today. I gave up trying to post on it yesterday in case the "worm" succeeded.

luda Walked around the fair again tonight. Tried to buy dh some Number 8 rock and failed miserably. Still, I tried.
