Is tinned salmon safe to eat if it has been sitting in a hot car for 2 days??

Agh - just found 2 tins of salmon which I bought as a present for my elderly parents - tinned salmon sandwiches for sunday tea, with a lettuce leaf! - have been sitting in my car because I forgot them. It has been hot here yesterday and today - the tin felt really warm.

Is it OK because it is sealed, or have I just wasted a fiver???

Tinned food will survive a nuclear attack I think!

It's fine. It's sealed.

Totally fine.
Not had tinned salmon for years. Used to come out for special occasions, mixed with a drop of vinegar Smile

I would let everyone else tuck in, give it ten mins and if no one dies I'd eat it
