How on earth do I get rid of the stain in the back of my fridge?

Ok we've all done it. I found a mouldy cucumber hidden right in the back of our fridge.

I immediately removed the offending item but now I'm stuck with mould/mildew stains on the back.

I've tried scrubbing it with hot soapy water and mildew spray but it ain't budging one bit. It's definitely a stain rather than actual mould/mildew.

What do I do now? We're in a rented property so I have to get rid.

Try sprinkling a damp cloth with bicarbonate of soda.

kitchen spray with bleach, and leave it on for a while.

You can get a product called "Chem-Pro SDP" from places that sell homebrew stuff. It is a food-safe steriliser.
