What item/items do you always leave unironed at the bottom of the ironing basket?

Tell me it's not just me, who has a few items that I can't bear to tackle? I half attempted a Burberry style spring jacket, but it has to be ironed on a cool setting, but is still wrinkly. And Christ knows how I'm going to attempt to do the sleeves. What's your 'Oh, I'll get it later item?

2 years mrsdavidbowie? I'm impressed! She obviously doesn't need it though, just hang it in her wardrobe and be done with it!

Ilikesweetpeas · 17/04/2015 19:08

DH work trousers!

What's an ironing basket?

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 17/04/2015 19:13

Everything!

I don't do the 'ironing pile'. Stuff gets ironed 'on demand'. Not literally, its put away after washing and ironed before wearing rather than ironed before putting away as I find stuff needs re-ironing once it comes out of the wardrobe/drawer so decided to quit the first pointless stage. DH's shirts are sent out for ironing because we both hate doing them.

1lov3comp5 · 17/04/2015 19:13

Yeah I don't have a basket, moreso towers Angry

The only way I see the bottom of my ironing pile is after I've paid someone to do it for me!

Apart from that, I can't be bothered to iron curtains, bed linen or boxer shorts.

NapoleonsNose · 17/04/2015 19:20

Once a year DH goes to a black tie dinner. His dress shirt lives at the bottom of the ironing pile all year and is ironed on a "need to iron" basis only. I don't think it has ever seen the inside of the wardrobe.

teenagetantrums · 17/04/2015 19:21

nothing as I don't iron anything, cant remember the last time I got the iron out. Have seen DS occasionally iron a shirt in the last few months and that's
it. ironing is overrated.

milkysmum · 17/04/2015 19:25

An ironing pile???
I can't actually remember the last time I ironed something but would if it needed it but I would just put all the clothes away and then iron something if it happened to need it. When I wanted to wear it. Bloody hell if I kept all my clothes in a pile waiting to be ironed my wardrobes would be emptyShock
