What's your most loathed household chore? Mine has to be cleaning the back of the toilet (where the hinges are) where my two ds's insist on peeing there. It's gross! I hate cleaning those little puddles even worse is when they miss the bowl completely and pee on the floor, or into shoes that have been discarded next to the toilet

I get most 'job satisfaction' from cleaning the bathrooms when they're grotty. I love giving them a good going over until they're all shiny and sweet smelling again. Oh, and arranging all the shampoo bottles on the side of the bath so they look like they're on a shop shelf. Sad? Who? Me? What are you lot's most loathed and least loathed domestic chore?

I'm lucky I don't have the problem any more. Though will probably need them in the summer when DS2 starts toilet training. Great link btw

Forgoet to add this one, but sitting here next to a stinky fish tank has prompted me to say Cleaning out the flipping fish.

hate - emptying bins (dh does it)

love - cleaning bathroom (v. satisfying)

Most loathed - the constant round of cleaning. Once done, it needs doing again (hence me not doing it as often as I should!)

Most liked - washing - gets done quickly. Smells nice.

Don't mind housework too much so long as I can do it in peace without having to toggle with childcare. don't do bins though

My most hated job is emptying the dishwasher for some reason - so much so that I made it one of Ds's tasks to earn his allowance. He's been doing it for ten years now, with quiet efficiency, so when he went off to university I was surprised to find it was always full!! Needless to say, DD's list of jobs has now been re- edited to include emptying the dishwasher (sad to say she is neither so quiet, nor so efficient about it!)

Hate: dusting
hoovering
tidying little bits and bobs
cleaning the oven

Don't mind:
sorting stuff out to get rid of / send to charity shop etc (feels very cathartic)
cleaning bathrooms (looks so shiny and fab afterwards)
changing sheets (so nice to get into bed that night, and looks and smells lovely)

Hate: hovering. Emptying dishwasher (backache!)
Don't mind: clean the bathroom, ironing, at night, when children are in bed, in front of the telly (not that i do it very often)

I quite like the washing up, it's relaxing. I loathe ironing. And cleaning the toilet.

Tidying up, its just so constant and never gets any better.

none really but the one I'll do most ahppily is rearranging furniture or painting!
