mission

well i had to go pick up DD from school as she was feeling sick. she's got a fever too, so don't think she's pretending. i am trying to be helpful but not pamper her. that's what i was doing and she's figured out that she could pretend to be ill and get to watch films and stay home from school. her dad also once came home from work and let her sleep on the sofa all night while he watched her. DP and i picked up on the pretending quite quickly. the crying and drama was hell though. in the end we just didn't believe her anymore. sorry to rant on, but it's been getting me very stressed. any advice would be appreciated too.

Well Hi all, I have now done the bathroom to death!!!!!! cannot do anymore in there!!

My comp crashed for the last hour or so... PITA! COuldnt hang the curtains and rail myself as DH needs to move the telly... and I forgot to get the little clippy on thingys so they will hve to be hung tomorrow.

ok, seem to have made more mess than i've cleared - BUT - the pantry has no out of date food, and the shelves are all organised, and two of the kitchen drawers have been decluttered. two loads of washing done. DD1 has done half an 11plus paper. Not bad with 4 kids at home - and its only 11.50.

Off to buy a birthday gift for a party tonight, then I will straighten the place up - I have a huge pile for charity and a huge pile for the tip this weekend

oh bummer....my tumble dryer is making queer noises...have had abandon the drying as I can now smell burning!
My 3 year old seems to know a bit too much...insisting "James might have fallen in the hole mummy!"
In which case, will have to wait til dh gets home to get the back off and see if there is a small chared red train!!!!!

I want an office in a bag ..... Anyone seen anything equivalent available in the UK??

Tortoise, Hope your party goes well for you tomorrow. Did you have all that rain lastnight? I went to the park with the DC and there was little floods all over it. DSs loved it though

I have done the hoovering, remade the beds, , got a few bits when I got DSs from school, done the park, then baths, then tea, The kitchen is all cleaned up as well Oh and there a load in the washing that will be finished soon and then whites to go in ready to put on in the am.

Ds2 and DD are in bed sleeping and Ds1 is going to bed soon

Then its going to be a hot bath for me

DD is much better. she even managed to eat something simple. before she went to bed we had a heart to heart about a lot of things. DS is nearly 5 months and since just before his birth the relationship between DD and i hasn't been that good. but the things we talked about tonight will hopefully help. i feel a lot more positive anyway

as for FLYing... i did my usual routine today. nothing special. DP will try to sort out through clutter in the loft this weekend, if he gets time. we really need to clear that out, there isn't room for anything up there. there's load of boxes full of videos and we don't even have a video player anymore!

Not had a great date night here asleep. DD has been crying for most of it. Shes just gone back to sleep.

They said we are having rain first thing and then dry (ish after that, some showers is a maybe. (his words not mine) Sunday is looking to be very wet though.

Sandwiches done now and kitchen floor cleaned!
