desperately trying to dry washing in last day of sunshine and...

dh on a day off work kicks a ball for the dog which lands in the middle of the heavy waterproof sheet I was attempting to clean - which I had rushed to get in the machine at 7am so that it would have enough time to dry.

Looks like dh needs to make sure he has time to get to the laundrette this afternoon and understands about LOW HEAT for tumble-drying

and because the builders are here as well I couldn't vent at him as I normally would have done.

Here's a tip for quicker drying clothes - use coathangers for tops, hang them on an airer and point a fan at them. The breeze cuts down drying time by half I reckon and it doesn't cost much.

Probably not much help for you at the moment CupSnakes if you've got the builders in.
