just that really!

i need to start spenidng less on the weekly shop and was wondering what other think of lidl. I went with a freind last week (didn't actually buy anything) and noticed they seem to do a good range of products at much cheaper prices.

wondering iof its worth trying - just questions marks on the quality really and whether its worth the saving

I realise I shop everywhere. Lidl is good for anything like sausages, parma ham, pizza and freezer bags. Our local has crap fruit and veg. I can never carry too much as I only have the buggy. Their Black FOrest Ham is the best cured ham I have ever had.

I love their offers. I got two goose down pillos recently for £10.
Their choc biscuits are good. I think they often do regular British Brands.

Dishwasher tabs. Nappies are good quality and very cheap.
Also pasta and rice, fruit juices, kids yoghurts, biscuits and the ice-cream is scrummy. Great that I normally bring reusable shopping bags when I go there.

The random stuff in the middle aisles always makes me laugh too - pick up anything from a horse blanket to a popcorn maker

I love Lidl. The quality of so much of thier food is so much better than the other supermarkets, really good quality german stuff especially and SO cheap. The only thing that puts me of is ours it quite packed .
