Have just bought a gorgeous new pair of black leather wedges that are ridiculously uncomfortable but look fab. stupidly i thought i'd try and stretch them out a bit by stuffing them with wet newspaper for 24hours. Have just come to try them on again and they have a disgusting white water stain over the front of both that i can't seem to get out or cover up with polish! - please tell me they're not runined??!!

Googled for suggestions - looks like gently rubbing with a cloth soaked in vinegar and water is the thing (most just said that - one suggested 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water) - haven't tried it though, so worth trying on one little bit and seeing how it goes before doing the whole lot. Good luck.
