HELP!! whole bottle of squash dumped on living room carpet

HELP!!

need advice quick pleeease!! 16mth DD has just stolen a bottle of squah from the cupboard and proceeded to dump the lot neat on my living room carpet. Any suggestions???? am stomping on an old towel at the mo

eek! i would say loads of water to dilute and something like vanish spray

How on earth did an 16 month old open a squash bottle???

Was it a dark coloured juice?

It was onrange squash thank goodness our carpet is a rustic colour so shouldn't be too bad. She can get into anything!!!!! obviously can now unscrew caps - clever girl

Hunkermunster - she doesn't drink the squash only DH, she has very very dilute fruit juice

also if you can get your hands on a carpet cleaner they can do a good job on stains. i managed to get ribena up the other day with one

We also had a bottle of Ribena spilt on a carpet, and it seemed to come out OK when it was cleaned professionally, BUT after a couple of weeks or so, the stain reappeared. That patch of carpet was never the same. I claimed on my house insurance in the end and got a new one. Are you insured?

aaah. don't tell me that we are insure but i guess we'll just have to wait and see. It is a beige carpet and looks pretty good at the mo so fingers crossed.
