hubby's pink shirt that is meant to be white.....HELP!!

Please help me! One of my hubby's white shirts somehow ended up in the washing machine with my burgundy jeans and is now baby pink. I'm pretty sure he won't like the new colour. I've tried re washing it on a hot wash with stain remover but it remains just as pink as before. Any suggestions please?!

Hot water fixes stains unfortunately, even with stain remover. Is it a cotton shirt or poly cotton? If so, soak it in a solution of bleach for a while - you can easily check whether the pink has come out and either leave it a whole longer or stick it in the washing machine to wash the bleach out. The higher the synthetic fibre content, the harder it can be to get colour run out.

You could try soaking in a cold solution of Vanish or Biotex, but both those are more likely to be successful if you hadn't put the shirt through a hot wash. Bleach is harsher on the fabric, but it's likely to be the only option now.
