Aghh, swear the recent addition of thousands of tiny bands has a lot to do with this, although hoover was feeling the strain before...

Had a Samsung pull along jobby, bagless, 2000w, cost me £150 about 6yrs ago, bought as the suction was really powerful (think sucking the carpet up off the floor!).

I have 3 dcs, a cat and 2 ppl with long hair in the house, need something with powerful suction again, pull along preferably, budget max about 150, don't mind what brand as long as it is not a vax!!

please help! any recommendations??

Whatever you do don't get a fecking dyson ball. It's like using a wonky shopping trolley to Hoover with.

I have pets and have the Miele cat and did vacuum. Literally saved my life when it comes to pet hair. It's about £200, so not cheap but it is amazing!

Cat and dog, obviously...

haha Grin my friend just bought a dyson ball and thinks its marvellous! im not fussed about them myself, everyone who I know with a dyson is constantly getting them repaired and they seem like such a lot of money for what they are. off on school run but will google miele cat and dog later!

I've had brilliant normal Dysons, but the ball one I loathe and detest. I am left handed though and the whole world is the wrong way round to me. Maybe its better for normal people.
