Eyelash dye knocked over on bedroom carpet...any hope?

DSD was trying to save cash and dye her eyelashes- dye knocked over cream wool carpet.

Have tried to shampoo it but to no avail.....

No, its all wasted now and she'll need to go to the salon.......

Seriously, I'm sorry to say it but I think your carpet will need a strategically placed rug, or an insurance claim if you have accidental damage cover.

Eek - sounds bad. I spilled ink on my bedroom carpet as a kid and it never completely came out.

I hope you didn't use warm or hot water?

Try a tablespoon of washing up liquid mixed with a tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of cold water and sponge it on with a white cloth then blot with another clean, white cloth. If that doesn't work try ammonia with washing up liquid (same quantities as first method) and water and do same thing again.

If neither of those works you could try using hydrogen peroxide sprinkled on and left, though that might remove the original colour.
