Anyone else hung a Samsung TV on the wall and then realised you can't connect anything?

I think I can still connect my Wii into the side but this is the small TV in my room and there's no point having it up here! I wanted my DVD player in it but apparently it is a bit of a design fault. I can only plug in something that fits with the side cables (red/white/yellow IIRC) and I don't even think I can get an aerial lead in?!

Anyone found anything that fits? DVD player is ancient so could overhaul if something does!

Use a torch, and possibly a mirror. If your wall bracket allows for tilt, lean it forward as far as you can. You should not need to take the entire bracket off the wall. Mine has a part attached to the wall, and a part attached to the TV. Part 2 hooks onto (and lifts off) part 1, and has retaining screws to prevent it falling off.

Thank you Piglet! I managed to get the aerial in only to find that even now when I turn it on it doesn't seem to find any channels!

has it ever worked? What sort of aerial is it? Presume you have gone to the "set-up" routine per the instructions?

digital tvs are more fussy, if wrongly aimed aerial, they go from good picture to no picture in just a few degrees. Old analogue TVs had a wide range of poor to better to good picture.

I have a source somewhere that tells you where your nearest transmitter is, and a compass bearing from your house, but it is a bit of a job.

I didn't have it tuned in to tv in the last house - it was always connected to my wii and DVD player! I will attempt another go at re-searching for the channels and then perhaps call the aerial guy back who was out last month.
Thank you Piglet!
