If you ran out of washing powder ..

... what would you use?
Dishwasher tablets ... washing up liquid ... shampoo ... possibly a scraping of had wash powder?
We live a long way from any shop and I have to wash every day ....

When this happened to me I put in some soda crystals, a tiny bit of bleach and hot wash. Was sheets from DDs wet bed. Came out looking and shelling clean.

A splash of vinegar? Seems to work for everything else

You are right - vinegar always seems to be the answer ...
