We have one with five drawers in the kitchen and I am hoping to get one for the garage. How do I stop it being a big cold muddle?

I check my freezer regularly to keep it tidy. I don't like to keep things too long. If we haven't used things in a month or so then I either make a point of using it or I chuck it out.
