You can buy non slip stuff from dunelm.its kinda like a fabric felt it really does work. Also ive seen gripper tape but prefer the dunelm non slip tbh

I was coming on to say the felt stuff from Dunelm Grin
You get it in the made to measure section and they cut the length that you need. We have it under our rug.
Just a warning though, don't try and move the rug when it's on the stuff as it won't budge. Me and dh have to grab a corner each and lower it down!

Does it work for a rug on laminate flooring?

IKEA do one I suspect very similar to dunelm - it's got latex in the felty fabric which grips. £8 for a big one (170x240cm rug, and it's maybe a cm smaller all round). Looks like it would cut to size very easily.

We have parquet floor and the rug does not move, at all.

Brilliant, thanks Adagio. Ikea is just on the outskirts of Edinburgh so not far from me, will pay them a visit Smile
