Lampe Berger/ Ashleigh and Burwood home fragrance lamps

Hi, am considering buying one the these catalytic lamps as an alternative to scented candles. They do seem expensive and the fragrance oils aren't cheap either. Does anyone own one? Would you recommend them? I don't want to rush and order one in case they aren't up to MN standards. Thanks in advance.

I have an Ashley and Burwood one and love it - it really seems to kill unpleasant smells! I tend to ask for oil for b'days or Xmas as they last well if you follow instructions and don't burn them for hrs on end. Ashley and Burwood send out great freebies with orders sometimes which I save to give to people for birthdays etc.
