How do you store the heads of electric toothbrushes?

Just that - I'm so fed up of knocking them onto the floor and the toothpastey gunk leaking over the sink when they haven't been properly ringed afterwards.

Any good ideas?

Our toothbrushes just sit on the windowsill? Each toothbrush just sits beside the other because they don't fit in a traditional toothbrush holder.

Do you mean you just have separate heads and not a separate body? We have one full toothbrush each. If its just the heads could you put them in shallow cup?

I have a plastic cup with a section that goes on top with 4 holes in it for toothbrushes and the little heads fit in those. The cup has floating penguins in liquid around the edges and that stops the heads getting bored in the many hours between uses.Wink

They (the toothbrush heads) hang about on the window sill and aound the basin. It isn't tidy, but it works for us.

I put the heads in those mini jam pots from B&B breakfasts (sans jam obviously) then pop them in the cupboard.

A pretty shallow glass dish, akin in size to an ashtray. Floss also lives there.

Yes, sorry I wasn't clear, it's separate heads for an electric toothbrush.

Lol, Jan, it's kind of you to think of their entertainment too ;-)

I've used a glass before but it got gunky pretty quickly so it seemed earlier to wipe the sink down. I like the idea of a shallow dish, thanks!

Ramekin

(There are a million and one uses for a ramekin!)

OrangeLily · 05/07/2013 11:33

Multiple ramekins then and pop in the dishwasher between uses?

Sparkeleigh · 09/07/2013 12:04

Sorry, have been sick so haven't replied before now!

Oh, I would LOVE a dishwasher but no room sadly. Using ramekins would excuse all the gu desserts I'd have to eat to get them Grin

I was hoping for some kind of pretty holder I suppose, something with a tray underneath and little grips for the toothbrushes. I could just make one with sugru but it wouldn't be pretty!
