What kind of calendar/filofax/thing do I need?

Currently I have a huge kitchen calendar thing on the wall with pre-printed birthdays/term dates/weekly activities etc with a column for each of us (me/DH/4DC). This is my bible, if it's not on there it doesn't happen.

And a filofax, supposedly a small copy of the kitchen calendar but never kept up to date.

And a Iphone, again never up to date. I can't link the phone to the wireless printer and I DH needs a visual copy, otherwise if he can't see it then it's not happening. He doesn't have a phone so we couldn't do Google Calendar, I think.

Obviously I don't take the calendar out with me often, but I want to. What can I get that is more portable, that I can print out, update, and most importantly, look at Grin

Or is this impossible?

Without doubt, Google calendar is the easiest option. You can update/view it on your PC and iPhone. No more updating (or forgetting to update) multiple calendars and diaries as it's all in one place.

If you want to print a copy for DH, do it from your PC or get him an iPhone too. It will be money well spent.

I cannot fathom why people still use paper calendars...

I just take a picture of the kitchen one on my iPhone and look at the picture!

What do you mean you can't look at Google calendar? Hmm

It's so much easier!!! You can bung the full address in the location and notes in the details section. You can have appointments overlapping and recurring events (i.e. Birthdays) only need to be entered once and repeated.

Because the pc is in one room and my phone is titchy in comparison to the A3 calendar on the wall Blush
