Help me reduce the number of different bottles of cleaner I use in the bathroom

I currently seem to use about 6 different types of cleaner to clean the bathroom - each surface seems to need something different. Can anyone point me towards a more universal product.

At the moment I use Bath Power which shifts anything but I am scared it will damage some surfaces, hence the myriad of bottles.

Bar keepers friends, astonish cream cleaner, dettop, white vinegar and bicarb and lemon juice. That's all I use for the whole house.

I use method bathroom cleaner. No nasty chemicals and excellent at cleaning.

Unless you have calcium based stone like marble or limestone in the bathroom, a basic bathroom cleaning spray should be fine.

If you do have such stone surfaces, then a squirt of fairy in a spray bottle will make a decent ph neutral cleaner.

Glass spray is good to clean glass and polish taps.

if you get a water softener, you can clean almost everything with a sponge and a drop of WUL

no limescale, so add some loo cleaner, and a bathroom spray with green scourer if you use anything persistent like shaving foam.

Cream cleaner and limescale remover plus e cloths here

Oh yes and toilet cleaner.

Just use recover type surface spray and bleach here. Oh and glass cleaner on the mirror.

Stardrops... Although I do use 'proper' loo cleaner too (bloo or duck).

Flisspaps · 21/03/2013 15:49

I use bleach in the loo. Everything else is just bubble bath and water on a sponge!
