because I cannot manage ShockAngryBlush.

I suppose I have not been taking in off, although it is in use regularly because I use it exclusively for pureeing fruit/soups, so have not had to change the blades. A quick rinse seems to do the trick; maybe that is quite minging and it is all now festered and cemented into place...

Anyhoo, I would like to be able to attach it to my as of yet unused mill, but can't.

Any ideas, oh Wise Ones?

So far I've tried olive oil, pliers, cold water, hot water, I would love used gentle force persuasion, but cannot find traction on the darn thing.
Help before I throw it against the wall!

I am tempted to put it in the freezer to see if the metal might shrink a bit? Or will that kill it altogether??

have you lost the instructions?

PacificDogwood · 17/02/2013 19:31

Thanks, PigletJohn, I'll have a look in a minute Grin - I think, in theory, it's ridiculously simple (untwist et voila), in practice however it is just stuck.

You cant twist it, as there is a little pin that holds the attachment in place. Try just a straight pull. I usually put 2 fingers round 2 of the 4 prongs (assuming you are using that attachment) and give it a good yank.

Good Luck

Yes, it's that attachement, Queen; I foolishly thought I'd be adverturous and try someting different... It just does not come off that wee stub/pin.
The instructions are talking about what to do if the attachement becomes too loose - really not a problem here Grin
