If you have a cupboard like this (pic in body) what do you keep in it?... What should I keep in it?

I'm having a bit of a move around of where I keep things in my kitchen. I have just installed shelves in the cupboard next to my dishwasher and have put all of my plates and bowls in it.

I think this is going to work well as i wont have to carry plates around my island to the cupboard where they were, plus the new cupboard is also next to the kitchen table great!

To do this I removed a wire drawer thingy which I should have kept veg in but never did... If you have one of these where is it in your kitchen?

Also, by moving the plates/bowls I now have a totally empty corner cupboard... This is in the corner next to my oven (which has a cupboard belwo and above) some drawers and then my hob (which has drawers beneath)... If you have one of those,what do you keep in it? Any ideas what I should use it for?

I've never really got on with it, but it's a large space so should theoretically be useful?!?!?

Tins, spices?

I have built something like this, in the top drawer of my island for spices.

Tins could be a good idea as at the mo, they are around a corner in the family room bit of the kitchen...

We used to have one of those twirly corner cupboards and we used it for cans, jars, spices, sauces etc

I would personally remove the twirly thing and use the space for bulky, heavy things like food processor and other seldom used appliances. Alternatively if you want to use the space more efficiently you can get inserts that slide all the way out and have a nifty bit that comes out from underneath. I'll try and find a link.

That is my 'plastics' cupboard. Lids on top shelf, then on the bottom shelf empty ice cream containers, takeaway containers, jugs, colanders, lolly pop mkakers, etc etc. Not that anyone else has figured this out - after 6 years dh still never puts plastic stuff away cos he says he doesn't know where to put it
