can i really dry clean my ds jacket via bunging in a washing machine in a pillow case on a woool setting?

as i just read on a credit crunch thread.
he lost his jacket but his other one, dry clean only he says smells and hey presto, it seems i can stick it in the machine,

Yep. Used to do this with my 100% wool uniform all the time.

and is this at 30 degrees?

My machine only has a cool wash setting so yes would be my answer.
