Can you put bathtoys, playmobil, lego, action man in the dishwasher?

Was thinking all the little nemo fishes/playmobil etc could go in the cutlery bit, and the big boats, action man on the top rack.

Then i could go and drink wine and put my feet up instead of bleaching the icky toys i found in the bathroom.

Will it work?

I have done lego and playmobil on a normal cycle and they come out fine, so I'm sure the other items will be too. Enjoy your wine!

Lego takes ages to dry.

do you put the small bits into something?

As a CM, I put everything through either the dishwasher or washing machine (unless wooden)

Lego, sticklebricks, play food, better in a pillow case, in the washing machine (turn the spin off, makes hell of a racket Grin) then DH made me a tray out of chicken wire that went on top radiators to dry it all

Anything that dosn't fill with water went in the dishwasher.

Bath toys that have any little black mould bits will need sterilising/ bleaching to kill the mould. I leave overnight in sterilising solution.

I bung everything else in a net bag on top shelf of dishwasher.

nothing mouldy, just a bit icky.

Yes - I do anyway - no probs!

I've done it with no issue too. Obviously be wary of small parts or little bits that might break off in the cycle. Pillow case twisted up might do the job.

Yes. You can get special baskets and nets for the small things.

lego I've sewn up in an old pillowcase and put in the washing machine. Noisy, but it works:)

success! it all went in the dishwasher on a low temp 30 minute short wash.
all came out a treat.
Thanks all.
