grin - today, I have been through all the clothes in the house

all drawers emptied
clothes that are too small for the boys have been sorted into sucky bags labelled ready to go into loft and to local charity.
16 name tapes have been sewn into new uniform.
the drawers are now immaculate and ready for school.

only thing I have forgotten is school shoes, will have to try to do that tomorrow!!

Can I join your preening? I am also all organised and looking forward to back to school day. Did a car boot this morning and got rid of loads of clutter too. It's fab when you get the house all organised isn't it!

Just working my final way through a pile of socks, separating into worn and slightly crusty, winter and summer!

However, they're not in DC's uniforms yet

I've done DCs, but my clothes still in massive heaps and won't fit in drawers/ wardrobes. It never quite seemed 'summer' enough to pack away my winter things/ long sleeve tops and I don't have space to have summer and winetr out at the same time so it's been living in piles on TOP of my drawers. Ah well, at least it will be easy to do the winter switch!

But I did manage to get an entire boot load of stuff to the dump the other day (old curtains, paperwork etc), after sorting what was any good for charity shop. Felt wonderful :o
