Best anti flea treatment for the house please (not for the cats, they are covered!)

Hello

I brought some fleas from next door when I fed their cats without knowing they had a flea infestation (argh). Can someone recommend a good anti flea to treat a room before the fleas get too comfy.

Thanks

I'm currently using Indorex spray which I bought online from Animed

and lots of hoovering, preferably with an upright which will disturb the fleas and eggs from the carpet pile.

We've been using Indorex spray after a neighbours cat infested us.

Had to use 4 times and seems okay at the moment. Realsied after I bought 2 cans of the stuff that the council will deal with it for only £30 - worth checking your council website.

Empty your vacuum after you've hoovered.

I did hear that putting a flea collar in the vac bag kills them, presumably the insecticide in the enclosed bag while it is not being used.

Acclaim, it's a spray you can get it at most Boots stores.
It's toxic. The council told me to use this when I had an infestation and they couldn't get to me for a week.
It works.
