Canvas cushion cover-what temp to wash

Just that really!

I have canvas cushion covers and puppies. One puppy has the runs and so I need to wash 5 covers. No washing label, what temp should they withstand?

If the canvas is cotton and the cushion covers are off a settee then I would recommend they be done gently, by hand and coolest water. Most cotton covers shrink a bit more each time they are washed but hardly shrink if dry cleaned.

I'd pop them in the machine at thirty after soaking in Vanish for a few hours. If they're still grubby put them on for another, higher, cycle. Put the cushions in when the covers are just out the machine as it stretches them back out if there's been any shrinkage. Pop them on a, white, towel to dry flipping over every once in a while to dry both sides.
