HELP - polished tiles been ruined by spilt vinegar

My DD has just dropped and smashed to smithereens a bottle of balsamic vinegar onto my brand new polished marble tiles. It has taken the shine off and left a pale brown stain on the tiles which are cream.

How can I sort this? They're trashed at the moment.

You ideally need to call a stone mason who'll either tell you how to clean them or did it for you.

Keep blotting it with a soft towel. There is a mix you can use but it needs to be left overnight and best to check with a stone mason.

Regular waxing will help to seal them and be careful with acidic or concentrated products.

hope you get it sorted.

Sad Marble is concentrated limescale, so it dissolves in acids and descalers (and, in time, rainwater). It is also quite absorbent.

I think you need to be looking for some spare tiles.
