Pleeeease come talk to me about ironing boards. I know this is boring but...

My ironing board has given up the ghost. Which would you recommend?

I've seen threads praising the Brabantia (hot favourite at minute) but there's this Morphy Richards(?) 'shirtmaster' thing - looks humongous but irons the whole back of a shirt in one go. Any one tried it? Any use? (I have a steam generator iron so need a mesh one. )

All your ironing board tips gratefully received.

I got one of their covers that irons both sides with the heat. More expensive but worth it.

Between that and my new iron, I can do my weeks ironing in about an hour.

I vote Brabantia as well, the cat loves it too - but that's for sleeping on

Thanks all, Looks like everyones in agreement so far... Carpe - like the idea of the double sided cover, will look in to this.

So, no one's had anything to do with this shirtmaster thing then? No takers??
