Just that really. Have already had a go with nail varnish removed and that turned out to be a very bad idea. Am a bit devastated about it. DP has suggested cutting it out. Carpet is beige. Nail varnish is purple.

WD40? That removed that stupid alien slime stuff from our light brown carpet recently.

Can you just keep going with it - remover - blot with loads of kitchen paper - dilute with more remover - more blotting etc.

Our dog walked red oil paint ( don't ask) ALL over the house and we got t out this way with white spirit and then hired a Rug Doctor cleaner and now you can't see a thing. (lots of other filth came out too despite the carpets being hoovered twice a week - yuk!)

Water, hairspray (not strong-hold etc) and nail varnish remover.

Wet well with the water, spray copious amounts of hairspray on and add a good slug of remover. Scrub with a nail brush or toothbrush.

Keep adding liquids and scrubbing - it WILL come out eventually. Managed to get bright green out of a cream carpet this way.

Hope that helps!

Def WD40, deep blue nail varnish on cream carpet completely removed!
