and other intriguing insights

I may even steal borrow my mum's June edition of GH when I next visit.

We have wallpaper and a chandelier in our downstairs loo. Sounds wrong but it works.

But how would you keep bathroom curtains from going all manky?!?

I have curtains, it never occurred to me they might go manky. They're very thin cotton, perhaps that helps.

Is it wrong I want to buy GH now? I'm 32. I shouldn't be buying Good Housekeeping.

When we had a big house in Scotland in the 80s/90s when I was a kid I think we had thin cotton curtains in the bathroom too come to think of it. I would just default to blinds in the small bathrooms I've had as an adult though.

I think my mind conflated 'Prince of Wales' + 'curtains' + 'bathroom' and came up with an image of heavy swagged brocade velvet or something.

Whereas they're probably gingham. Grin

He probably has them because some years ago a tabloid published pictures of him in the bathroom at Highgrove taken from miles away. I vaguely remember a fuzzy pcture of a bare-chested man who could have been anyone but was claimed to be P.C.
