Good morning! The bed I put on eBay has been sold! Hurrah. Well on the way to having a new bedroom for DD. All we have to do is... err... paint it and replace the awful mustard carpet.

Had hoped for major decluttering sesh this weekend but DH has yet another crisis at work so is going to be working for most of it - so either I do it without help or put it off. Again. Grr.

liveinazoo · 28/04/2012 08:40

Morning everyone (just!)

justtrying we all have days in our pjs. No Blush required here. We are all just Envy when that happens. All the newbies would be very welcome to come and chat on the chat thread. Grin

Ta Das:

  • Phonecall while still in bed (woke at 6.20 and then fell asleep again until 8.45!)
  • Made dd packed lunch for today (challenge with no bread - sympathies with zoo)
  • washed and dressed
  • hallway hoovered (you would never know now)
  • top up shop
  • breakfasted those who hadn't already given up and helped themselves
  • helped ds do some flybaby in his room (was only very vaguely messy but figured if we dealt with it at that level it would encourage him to keep it nice)
  • took ds's nightlight and cd player from his room as the psychologist says that is the next step and that he has to sleep without them. He is Sad

Newsflash Psychologist encouraged bribery incentives and said she used them on her ds too. Yay! She paid him a small amount to stay in bed until 6am every morning Grin I don't feel such a freak now Grin

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 12:38

justtrying - you just need to write an appropriate list Wink e.g.

  • save environment by reducing the amount of clothes I wash
  • reduce wear & tear on carpet by not walking on it
bessie26 · 28/04/2012 14:11

ta da

  • took DD2 for haircut at 9am
  • vacuumed downstairs
  • mopped utility re-doing DH's pathetic attempt
  • wiped worktops in the kitchen
  • cleaned old highchair (DD2 got a smart new one for her birthday)
  • gave DD2 some presents that arrived while we were away
  • wiped DD2s nose many times
  • early lunch (DD2 is in the process of giving up her morning nap so needs early lunch & early afternoon nap)
  • worked on getting DD1 to sit on the toilet (we have a new reward chart)
  • persueded DD1 to go for a nap without a nappy on
  • lots of laundry
  • updated online supermarket order
  • drank tea while still warm
  • put clean laundry away - DH did this!

to do

  • finish the laundry (I may have got carried away... I am washing scarves & gloves so I can pack them away!)
  • continue to encourage DD1 on the toilet
  • play with DDs
  • clear the bomb site that is the living room
  • make tea
  • bath & bed DDs
  • drink wine
  • read book
  • select a nice pic of DD2 to print out & frame
  • order nappy bin bags & nappies (amazon via nectar to get points)
