Best way to store a silk dress long term

DD2 has decided she wants to use my silk cocktail dress as her wedding dress. What would be the best way to store it for future use. She's currently 10 and doesn't seem to be in a hurry to tie the knot, but definitely wants this dress.

having seen my sisters beautifully packed wedding dress reduced to moth food I would definatley say the only way to go is vacuum packed in plastic so the little buggers cant get in
