Hi do you know which companies will do this as part of the service?

I think our local council will come and take it from your front garden for free. But anyway, where I live, if you leave any items out in your front garden, somebody will be along to take it, with or without a note on it!

If you go on most retaillers websites, and click on a machine you want to buy, they will offer an option to take away the old one.

It is pretty easy to connect a washing machine. Look on line and do it yourself to save the ££.

Many places will charge £15 - £20 to take the old one away or you can call up the council and they will do it for a fee.

John Lewis will do it at extra charge

I thought it was quite common.

Thanks comet are going to do it all. It's for my tenants who are soo rubbish at anything I wouldn't trust then to change a lightbulb!
