I just use hot soap water on mine, and if I'm in the mood for a flawless finish then I rub a bit of baby oil on and buff only when I'm selling a house or the MIL is coming Grin. It comes up lovely!

I haven't used Cif stainless steel cleaner but I have used other brands and I found them more smeary than a regular spray cleaner.

thank you very much, i will have a look for barkeepers friend as ive never heard of it, and in the meantine will get buffing with baby oil as i have an obsession with a shiny sink [grins]

I've used it and it's okay, but much prefer the stainless steel e-cloth. No streaks and far more environmentally friendly.

oddly while seraching on amazon for bar keepers friend the e-cloths came up, so I did buy them as well Grin

I have far to many cleaning products, am slightly obsessed

On recommendation from a friend I now use the astonish stainless steel cleaner from wilkinsons, cheap, last ages and is fab. Hated the cif one, streaks everywhere.

oh, I will be purchasing that if I dont get on with the others, I cant buy anymore cleaning stuff for a moment I'll have to move to a bigger place
