hairspray dissolves biro ink, but you have to be able to wash it after using the hairspray

Thanks, I'll give that a go, I've already tried fairy liquid, baby wipes and vanish carpet and upholstery cleaner (bought when she smeared sudocrem into the carpet), none have worked. It has loose covers, might try the hairspray and risk sticking them in the machine.

i was sceptical at the hairspray at 1st too, you have to really soak the fabric in it, but it got the biro out of my cream curtains thanks DD
