Where can I buy not expensive curtain tension rods?

I have found the ones I like at very.c.uk but the delivery is expensive.
Woolworth sells the same curtain rods with exactly the same delivery options. I did not know that woolworth and very under the same roof. Not like the old woolworth anymore.

Does anyone know where to buy such things? I need 1 or 2, size up to 200cm for the door.

Thank you.

I got mine from wilkinsons

Have you looked at Dunelm?

Lovefruitsandvegs · 09/03/2012 12:51

Thank you for suggestions. Both shops have net rods at pretty good prices. The delivery price is lower at Dunelm.

the woolies ones in brass look nice.

if you have a wilco near you, you can order for collection from branch without delivery charge. I was amazed they did this for a 50p paint sample pot. Only seem to be in white, i presume plastic?

wilkinsons

use the "free collect at store" option

PigletJohn, very, woolworth have free collection to local stores but they do not delivery net rods. Perhaps, too long :)

might be too fragile if just one or two rather than a great crate of them? Long, thin, not strong?

I ordered a brass corded rail from Homebase in a large size (3 metres) and it was delivered bent. They exchanged it without quibble, but I suppose a bit awkward to lug around.

I have just noticed that the net rod which I like has ends which will not stick to anything. Our rods at home have special flat sticky attachments. You do not need hooks.

I got mine from John Lewis. They're very strong and of good quality but probably more expensive than those mentioned so far.
