Forgot that we're going into DS2's school this afternoon for a messy play session, so no time for playgroup as needed to get DD to nap earlier than normal to fit it in.

DH home after a busy week with today off, so he's gone back to bed. THe house is lovely and peaceful :)

Lost you for a bit, so had to rummage in housekeeping.
Not feeling too pressed to list, and trying to avoid looking at the backlog of jobs lurking. Looking forward to jubilee time off. Might even be inspired to bake.

One down note. Moths have been appearing, so I must attend to the dark corners. Or there'll be war.

I did pretty well yesterday. We didn't make it to the park, but the boys had plenty of time in the garden and DS1 had the vast excitement of walking from the garage where we took my car to macdonald's for lunch while they did the tyres, which more than compensated!

I'm here I 'm here! Did actually do most of what i needed to on mon but logged on and noone was here so couldnt be bothered to type up list!

House is a sty again today as we had parents morning today so have spent all week doing learning diaries. Had my windows done this afternoon though so will bring the rest up to standard tomorrow. Esp as ds has come out in chicken pox so cant go anywhere!

Feel terrible as he came to work with me this am so have exposed all the children there to it, whoops!

I am feeling very virtuous as today I cleaned the cat flap.i may put bunting around it.

I got up just after 6.30 then wasted spent 30 mins on MN which should have been spent getting ready to go away for the weekend.

Have never seen a child as poxy as ds! Covered he is. All these people who count spots and I cant even count the spots on one arm!

Mogs - using dryer here too. I reckon you'll get it all done bar the eBay stuff - that sounds too stressful to fit in before a trip away.

Freak - is he ok in himself? Hope so.

DH gone out with DS1 to a 'mud run' each to their own I suppose. Means I can watch the tennis in peace :)

Have hoovered downstairs, have washed up, have put away a load of washing, have planted out some plants, have stripped the chicken ready for dinner, have had a bit of a tidy round, have givends another bicarb bath and covered in cream. And given lots of cuddles.

Have not dusted, mopped floor, cleaned bathroom, cleaned insides of windows, cleaned kitchen or done any washing. Why am i lazy when i have an enforced at home day?? If i'd been going out i'd have got a lot more done.

Have spent all day cleaning/sorting and outwardly it looks no different! Have rearranged 4 kitchen cupboards though, plus the understairs cupboard and under my bed. Will be better once I've got to the tip/charity shop and sold the few bits I want money for.

Ooh and I'm going to try hard to stop feeling like I need 10 bottles of bleach/washing up liquid/shower gel/cleaning products, 10 boxes of tissues, 5000 loo rolls etc in reserve (stems from when was with exh and sometimes couldn't afford to buy loo roll etc when we ran out so started to stock up when I could but don't really need to now). I'll have so much more cupboard space if I can get over this and just have whatever I'm using of each!

Freak - too true, I often stock up on too much stuff 'in case'. I'd love to have a large pantry thing to store stuff in properly but the truth is things get shoved in random cupboards & more than likely forgotten about. There is no system!!

Anyway, posting tonight in the hope I get some stuff done tomorrow.
